We are always here to help you. We are a team that has dedicated most of our lives to the paranormal world. Carolina Paranormal Unit (C.P.U.) was founded in 2004. But most of us was investigating the paranormal before that. We are not here to prove or disprove if ghost are real or not. What we do is To try and prove or disprove of a haunted or none haunted location. We do not try and prove that ghost exist or do not exist. As we believe strongly in the paranormal and in ghost. We try to prove if the location itself has paranormal activity or is haunted. Or just plain man made. Using scientific equipment such as EMF meters, Mel meters, digital voice recorders, REM pods, static balls, Night vision cameras, ITC, etc. etc.. We are able to better understand what is going on at your home/business. Even though most of us believe in the paranormal when going into a location. We still go in being very skeptical. And try to debunk what is going on. To be honest just about every place we have been, we have been able to prove that most paranormal claims are man made or from the house's age. Old and new houses settle meaning they pop, crack and make all kinds of sounds. Sounds you normally would not think a house would make. But you would be surprised. Most of the time new houses and houses that has been built within the 10 years usually makes the most sounds. Because they are still somewhat new and settling. Look at it this way, when you first get into bed at night most people it takes some time to get settled and comfortable. Once we do we fall asleep. Now during the night after a few hours of sleep, we end up turning over to get comfortable again. It's the same way with a house. At first it has to settle and get comfortable, then as the years pass it has to (turn over) sort of say to get settled once again. That is just one way to explain why a house makes all those creepy sounds. But in any case we are still always here to help you in any way. We are a nonprofit and all investigations are free, and are kept in the strictest of confidence. Unless you give written permission to make it public.
